Namangan region based textile enterprise expands production
The Anti-crisis program, developed in Uzbekistan on the initiative of the President, has served as an important factor in ensuring economic stability in the country and increasing the volume of production of competitive goods.
After the bankruptcy, joint venture Qosonqoy-Tekmen in Namangan region was reorganized into Qosonsoy Toqimachi LLC, with support of the National Bank of Uzbekistan and Uzbekinvest national insurance company.
Thanks to the investments worth 210 million soums, the technological line and other equipment of the enterprise were renewed.
Today the company produces import-substituting products like woolen and half-woolen items, as well as yarn.
These products are supplied to local enterprises manufacturing ready products, including RAU-Tom joint venture in Pap district and carpet factories in Margilan.
"We use only local raw materials in our production," company chairman Akbar Mamadaliyev told UzA. "Wool is supplied by Tashkent companies, while synthetic materials by Navoiazot company."
Qosonqoy Toqimachi currently employs 165 people. In the last six months, the company produced goods worth 460.5 million soums.
