Toshshahartranshizmat received 50 low-floor buses of large capacity MAN A22CNG, the press service of JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan said.
The buses, assembled at the JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan plant in Samarkand, operate on compressed natural gas. The use of new LNG technologies will reduce fuel costs by 30-35% compared to buses operating on the traditional fuel.
According to the JV, the company plans to supply 110 MAN A22CNG buses to Tashkent in 2018 and 190 more in 2019.
At the same time, it is planned to launch service centers of MAN in bus enterprises of Toshshahartranshizmat.
The length of the MAN A22 CNG bus is 12 meters and can carry up to 90 passengers.
