Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition - TIHE 2017 will be held in Tashkent city, in Uzexpocentre, from April 18 to 20, 2017.
Specific attention is paid to healthcare quality in our country; new high-quality medical centers are being opened meeting the level of international clinics. The key priority is to provide high-tech medical care both in the urban and rural areas.
To ensure effective addressing the priority tasks, it is important to implement advanced international experience and innovative technologies, as well as training of qualified personnel.
For more than 20 years, TIHE has been providing the opportunity to the national medical community to participate in business program events, establish direct contacts with global and domestic manufacturers of equipment and medical products, communicate with colleagues and find new partners.

More than 200 companies from 18 countries take part in TIHE 2017, in particular from: Belarus, Germany, India, China, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Check Republic, Switzerland, Estonia, South Korea, and Japan.
The world's leading medical technologies and innovative developments will be demonstrated by many leading manufacturers, including inter alia: Amico, Ural Optical and Mechanical Plant, Elamed, Minskinterkaps, Lekhim, and the world-famous companies Samsung, Heinemann, Mindray, BTL, Toshiba, Hitachi, Pentax, Hitachi, Little Doctor, Schiller, Chison, Belmedpreparaty, domestic producers Nika Pharm, Medprotect, Elacticum, etc.
According to the Program of Localization and Production of Finished Products in Uzbekistan adopted until 2019, it is envisaged to reduce import of medicines.
One of the key priorities of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan is to implement technological re-equipment of enterprises in the pharmaceutical industry and establish production of a wide range of generic drugs and innovative medicines.
To implement this Program, it is required to establish and launch local production. In this regard, the country provides for a number of measures aimed at regulating supply (customs privileges) of equipment, import of ingredients and substances, adoption of modern standards.
Positive dynamics and development of AptekaExpo Central Asia and Techpharm sections can be explained by these factors; 47 companies announced about their participation and accounted for 23.5% of the total number of participants, which is by 37% more as compared to last year.
Improved quality of life of citizens affects the higher needs of the society; today it is fashionable to have a healthy lifestyle, eat right food, play sports and look good; modern trends are reflected in the development of business areas. There are many clinics for aesthetic medicine, SPA salons and sports clubs throughout the country. Modern high-quality equipment, preparations, competent qualified personnel are in demand on the market. Beauty Uzbekistan section is aimed at attracting companies offering modern opportunities for the development of this particular market segment, the participating companies have given a successful start and development to this sector in the framework of the Tashkent International Healthcare Exhibition - TIHE 2017.
Altogether, the foreign exhibitors account for 59% of the total number of exhibitors. Along with foreign manufacturers, local distributors of medical equipment and partners of the world's largest manufacturers participate in the exhibition this year. As many as 57% of the total number of companies are permanent participants, 43% are debutants of the exhibition. As usual, the joint stand of the Novosibirsk region, Russia, will be demonstrated at the exhibition.
The exhibition plays an important educational role; it is annually attended by young specialists, students of profiling national universities and colleges. Here they are given an opportunity to see modern equipment, get valuable information from experts and acquire first professional skills trying simulators demonstrations, models of interactive surgical complexes to be presented on the stands.
In recent years, conferences and seminars have been held within the framework of the exhibitions dedicated to the various aspects of public health; they were visited by more than a thousand experts from all regions of the country.
The debutants of the exhibition MN Medical OY (Finland) will deliver a seminar on Treatment of Endoscopes: Modern Methods and Solutions; Delrus (Russia) will offer a research and practical seminar on Modern Technologies (aspects) of Laboratory Medicine. Specialists from primary health care facilities, national and regional centers are invited to participate in the seminars.
