On 22 and 23 November 2017, Tashkent Architectural and Construction Institute (TACI) hosted a training seminar “Energy Efficiency of Building Engineering Systems”.

The event for university students was organized jointly with Siemens. Also, specialists of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services and JSC National Energy Saving Company took part in the seminar.

The purpose of the seminar was to familiarize and enhance the knowledge of students and teachers in the field of introducing technologies for optimal energy use, necessary for life support systems for civil structures.

Within the framework of the seminar, Siemens specialists shared theoretical knowledge and practical experience of introducing energy-efficient technologies for building engineering systems. The training material was prepared on the basis of numerous projects implemented by the company in the field of industrial and civil construction. During the seminar, the specialists of the company discussed and answered numerous questions.

“Considering the high pace of development in construction of civil facilities in our republic, there is a need for training highly qualified engineers and specialists to ensure the introduction of modern technologies and rational resource use,” Abdullo Misarayev, Vice-Rector-Associate Professor of TACI, said.

The main focus of the seminar was aimed at automation of engineering systems of life support of buildings. Modern solutions for integrated automation, can save up to 30% of the total energy consumption of the building.
